Support is available for those on the lowest incomes to help with the cost of living and energy bills.

Government is aware that people are worried about the rise in cost of living and the pressures around being able to pay household bills this winter. Below is a list of support available for those on the lowest incomes to help with the cost of living and energy bills.

Need help paying bills?

Both Manx Utilities and Isle of Man Energy (previously Manx Gas) have various payment options available and have teams on-hand to offer advice if you are worried about your bills.

EVF have payment plans available and also accept Coal Fund vouchers

Manx Petroleums customers can speak to them directly if you are worried about the cost of your oil

Gas customers facing disconnection or financial challenges are advised to contact the Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading’s free and confidential debt counselling service.

The Isle of Man Consumer Advice and Debt Service will be running 'drop in' sessions every Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 at The Western Wellbeing Centre, Peel (Derby Road, opposite Shoprite car park). Feel free to 'drop in' and speak with one of our debt counsellors regarding any personal debts you may be struggling with. Any details discussed will be treated in the strictest confidence.
